My name is Barbara. I have been an Educational Psychologist since 2006 and I was a primary school teacher before that. I have a breadth of experience in supporting individuals, colleagues, settings and partner services with a wide range of needs and I am based in West Yorkshire.

How can Beechwood Psychology help?
INDIVIDUAL WORK
I work with children and young people aged 0-25. I am able to use a range of techniques to support understanding of the needs of children and young people to help those working with them to develop a plan of support.
GROUP WORK
I work with setting staff to develop interventions in order to support groups of children and young people, who may be experiencing similar needs.
SYSTEMS WORK
I work with early years settings, schools and post-16 settings to develop practice and understanding of current topics, for example through staff training. Settings can also find critical friend work helpful, as a way of developing their provision.
